education opportunity for our students,To prepare students for higher education in line with their interests and abilities,their students are the focus of all our work.There is a trustful environment in the school.They emphasize quality in education.We believe in the efficiency of correct and effective communication.We believe in differences and count this as wealth. We believe in the ethical values of the teaching profession and take care to implement them.The number of teaching staff is 20 and there are 400 students in the school.
The students of ECAF with the EU project:
- will improve foreign language skills
- will embody all school contributions for the student
- will learn how to use European tools for school development
As an institution, During all these activities, they aim to

-expand cultural ideas about other people's values
-share the best methods, didactic methods and experiences

-provide individual support to professional and cultural development.
Key people; they have teachers involved in Erasmus+ and E-Twinning projects. In E-Twinning studies, the school has received a national quality label and they have not applied for Erasmus projects before. In countries that have completed their technological infrastructures, social science institutions have gained importance and equipped social scientists are needed. As the social sciences gained importance, it was decided that social scientists in different countries will start their education at high school level with the idea that people working in this field will be better equipped. Science High Schools are boarding and mixed schools, the education period of which is 4 years.
As being Science High School like others in Turkey, ACEF;
a) To be the source of the training of the qualified scientists needed in the fields of Science and Mathematics,
b) To prepare students with a high level of interest and abilities in the fields of science and mathematics for higher education in these fields,
c) Students can follow scientific, cultural and technological developments.
d) To enable them to learn Turkish and foreign languages,
e) To ensure that common feelings are awakened between the past generations and their contemporaries in students,
f) To train individuals who can understand and interpret Turkish art and cultural accumulation and produce new knowledge and projects
Social background: the area of Afyonkarahisar neighbourhood is a quiet area, many of our students live in houses, but in the last few years many blocks of flats have made their apparition, thing which is beneficent for the school because young people move to these flats and this assures us that they will have an increasing number of students.
• The school has a wide experience in national projects, every school year they have at least 5 projects running with schools from the area/country, and they also have a good
collaboration with the local authorities, that is why They have projects in partnership with different local organizations. In all their projects they usually use technology and all the
modern means they can in order to make the best experience out of the collaboration.
• They have teachers who participated in individual mobilities and teachers who attend international conferences or send papers to different symposiums.
The education field of the school is general education, they provide our students with the basic necessary skills for their further studies. The goals of the school are to provide an open, flexible, active education, being focused on the students and the evaluation of their skills in a modern way, developing their abilities and key competencies, throughout all means. They believe that the activities they provide, both curricular and extracurricular, are means of achieving a high-quality education which they offer to our students. They have both compulsory courses and optional courses which can be chosen by the students together with their parents. The goal of this is to help our students develop in the fields they are interested in.
ACEF is a school that accepts students according to LGS exams, the education period of which is 4 years. Teachers are appointed according to the selection exam. English and German are taught as foreign languages. The number of weekly lessons is 40 hours.
One of our whole year projects is part of Europe day festival called “Gastronomy travel throughout Europe” which has been held in our school for the last 3 years. This project is the celebration of European culture, cuisine and heritage. Pupils are creating a dynamic marketplace with local dishes and performances of regional song and dance all followed by short video presentation made by pupils. Parents, teachers and local community are participating in cooking typical food of the chosen country and all leftovers are taken to charity and community organisations.
